Biological Evolution And Diversity On Earth 7th grade!:)

Evolution is caused by natural selection which is where the ones that are more adapted to surviving in the environment are more likely to survive predators and continues to breed passing on the successive gene. For example, evolution happens because of four things there is variation within a species those variations are inheritable there is limited resources in an ecosystem, and thus, competition between members of a species for those resources the members of a species with the traits best suited to acquire resources tend to leave behind more offspring than those without those traits. Genetic diversity is an important thing in the survival and adaptability of a species. When a populations habitat changes, the population may have to adapt to survive. High genetic diversity is also essential for a species to evolve. Species that have less genetic variation are at a greater risk. With very little gene variation within the species, healthy reproduction becomes increasingly difficult, and offspring are more likely to deal with problems such as inbreeding.

The genetic variation is a variation in alleles of genes, occurs both within and among populations. Genetic variation is important because it provides the genetic material for natural selection. Genetic variation is brought about by mutation, which is a permanent change in the chemical structure of a gene. Polyploidy is an example of chromosomal mutation. Polyploidy is a condition wherein organisms have three or more sets of genetic variation.

Without genetic variations there can be no evolution. Natural selection is the selection of those variations. Natural selection (the driving force of evolution) is the selection of genetic variations by how they affect the organism's chances of survival or reproduction. If they diminish it's chances, the organism or its immediate offspring die and the gene is gone.

Have you ever imagined that all living things have cells in them? And they are smaller than a human has on your body? Also did you know that there are two kinds of cells ?

Cell size :

Most cells are too small to be seen without a microscope. for example, human cells do need to cover the dot of the letter i . however, some cells are large . The reason why most cells are small is because cells absorb nutrients and get rid of waste through its outer surface.

Parts of a cell :

Cells have many different functions and come in many shapes and sizes. Some cells have common parts as the animal cell and plant cell. All cells are surrounded by a cell membrane . The cell membrane is a protective layer that covers the surface of the cell and acts as a barrier . Which also controls the materials that go in and out of the cell. The cells also have organelles that perform many processes. Arganeles are structures that perform specific functions within the cell . Different cells have different organelles . Some floating organelles in the cytoplasm , whereas others are associated organelles membranes , or other organelles . Another thing is that the cells have DNA. DNA is the genetic material is . DNA carries the information needed to produce new cells and organisms. DNA is passed from one parent to another parent and directs the activities of the cell. Some cells can live without DNA, but other cells can not. Most of the cells need to have DNA . DNA instructs cells how to make proteins.

Prokaryotes and eukaryotes

All cells have cell membranes , organelle , cytoplasm , and DNA. But there are two basic types of cells are prokaryotes and eukaryotes. A cell with a nucleus are eukaryotic . Pokaryotes cells are coreless . Bacteria and archaea are prokaryotes. Prokaryotes are single-celled organisms without a nucleus. Though prokaryotes have no nucleus have DNA. DNA of a prokaryotic cell is a large molecule . Having the shape of a rubber band. other than the prokaryotic cell has a membrane organelles . but lacking ribosomes .

Wondering what’s a cool and easy to do job? Where you can get paid your good money and having fun at the same time? Well that job is here!:)This awesome job is cosmetologist.If you become a cosmetologist you will need to know the basic most important information. What i mean by this is that you need to know about the education and training, job skills ,talents and experience, the earnings, the benefits, the employment, and finally about a typical day.

To begin with which is more important is that you need to know about the education and about the training. You will need a high school diploma or a GED that will be required for some personal appearance workers in some states. Another thing that you will need is to complete a program in cosmetology school. The number of years you need to become a cosmetologist will depend on the way a person completes the cosmetology program. One way is to graduate from a cosmetology school. This can take from 10 months to 18 months to complete, depending on the path taken and whether the a person studies part or full-time. All in all this is all you need to know about the education and the training for cosmetology.

Another thing that you need to know about cosmetology is about the job skills, talents and training experience. What i mean by this is that in addition to meeting education and certification requirements. cosmetologists need to be knowledgeable about fashion and beauty trends. Normally you can gain experience as an assistant at a salon, when you obtain a cosmetology license then you can either work at the salon and try to build up. There is one thing you should totally keep in mind. That is that you should always maintain your character happy. Don’t ever be mad with your clients that you get.

Furthermore you will also need to know about the earnings in cosmetology. The average salary ranged from $7.55 to $10.30 dollars per hour. Over time wages ranged from $10.08 to $14.31 per hour.When people see that you keep your promises, they will develop a loyalty to you and your business that will result in repeat sales. Beauty school costs vary depending on the school, location and courses. Small or private beauty schools typically cost more.

Another thing that your should know about cosmetology is about the benefit factors. In a cosmetology job the benefits entirely depend upon who the employer is. Many places provide no benefits but in some they do.The cosmetologist always has to be on the look out for bacterial and fungal infections, which can spread from the client to the cosmetologist or the other way around. Keeping one's hands clean and sanitized is imperative. Cosmetologists should examine a client's nails or hair closely before beginning work. If the client has an abrasion or cut and it is infected, cross contamination can occur when the cosmetologist comes into contact with the area. Another benefit you get for being a cosmetologist is that you get on learn everything you do and then you are able to do it on yourself. For example the hair, the waxing, pedicure, nails, and more!

Last but not least you also need to know about the employment. The overall employment of barbers, cosmetologists, and other personal appearance is projected to grow slightly faster than the average for all occupations. Opportunities for entry level workers should be favorable while, candidates at high-end establishments will face keen competition. Employment of cosmetologist should increase by 12 percent because many now cut- in style both men and women.In addition, over the next 10 years barbers, cosmetologists, and other personal appearance workers will be one of the fastest growing occupations. They should experience a 12.4% rate of growing during this time period.

Finally you will need to know about a typical day at work!:). Depending on the salon or establishment a typical day may begin with setting up the tools you’ll use for the day. Many cosmetologists, especially those who work in several salons, maintain their own kit of hair dryers, irons, brushes, even an assortment of   dyes. You’ll need to follow all the policies on sanitation and disinfection for your tools throughout the day to ensure your clients, (and your own) safety.Any job which is done on a per client basis can have flexible hours. As an independent or self-employed person and depending on the individual the work may represent only a few hours per week or more than 12 hours a day. If a cosmetologist works for salon as an employee, the hours may be set on daily or weekly basis- again ranging from a a few to 40 or more hours a week.Working with your clients' hair and makeup can be exciting. First, you're helping them to look their best. Second, you may let your creative spark show as you try new and provocative styles. The most challenging thing for a cosmetologist to do is making colored gray hair look natural is a challenge for cosmetologists.

All in all as you can see it is a lot of information that you need to know about the cosmetology job. Right!? So once again if you would like to become a Cosmetologist you will need to know about education and training, job skills talents and experience, the earnings, the benefits/health factors, the employment, and finally about a typical day at work.

• Without the slavery or the slaves they wouldn’t have been able to build the mansion of Charles Drayton because the slaves were the ones that created that mansion for him.

There is better and improved ways to communicate with family and friends. But just imagine what would you do with no Facebook, Twitter or Instagram? Well pretty boring right? Yeah , because how would you communicate or get to know someone new from a different place of the world? I think that all of these social media’s are very helpful because they help you communicate with your friends and more. Wich social media do you think is the best one to help you communicate with your family and all of your friends from far away?

One of my favorite ways to communicate with family and friends is by using Facebook. The reasons why I think that Facebook is the best way to communicate is because it is totally free, you don’t have to pay to do everything you do on there. Another thing that makes Facebook so great is that you get to meet many people from all around the world. Then you can also share your family and life events. You can also text your friends on Facebook. Finally you can see what other people post, like their emotions, how they are feeling, and their life events that they go through.

My second best way of communication is by a regular phone call. The reasons why a regular phone call is my second best way of communication is because you can hear the lovely voice of your Babe (your boyfriend or girlfriend). Also because it is  way faster than a normal text message. For example you wont have to spend time typing what you are going to say to the other person. You can also say “I love you” to someone (a guy) without being so shy. Then it is also fun to prank call of people. The best benefit of a phone call is that you can call someone during class time. How!? Well you can just dial then you put the phone inside the sleeve of your sweater and then the teacher won’t see you.

I know that you may think that having a Facebook were you share your personal information can be dangerous. But just think about it you can just go on your profile and block the people you don’t want to look at your information.

All in all as you can see Facebook and a regular phone call are the best ways to communicate. The reasons that Facebook is the best is because you can communicate, and a phone call is because it can help you hear your Babe’s voice and more! That is why those are the best ways of communication.

              Video Games Are Healthy

         Imagine all your family going to your house to play a video game and chilling , some people sitting down and others eating something delicious or laughing . Then part of your family is playing the amazing game of Just Dance.
          But just think your son or your daughter and your family spending time with you,having lots of fun playing the amazing video games.That would be great wouldn't it? Well some people may think that video games are harmful, but i'm going to show you some examples why they are healthy.
          For example, some people may think that video games are harmful to your health. Because they think that the games are going to make them not want to exercise and make them get fat. But, on the other hand the video game Wii has the amazing game of Just Dance where all you do is move a lot to exercise your body while having a lot of fun. It's like killing two birds with one stone, because you are exercising and working out your body at the same time. On the game it also shows you your score and so if you want to win you need to move more and faster. That for sure will help the children be very active and not gain any extra weight.
         Another reason why video games ar not harmful if because the video games can teach you life skills. For example, what i mean by this is that the video game can show you how to defend yourself whan you are in some kind od danger or something like that. It can also show you how to keep your body in shape and to stay active all the time.
         Every reasonable person would agree that video games are healthy to your body, Once again i totally agree that they are good for your body, they help you on your education, and it can help you keep your body in shape and maintain healthy all the time.
